14 years ago on January 22, 2010, the ridiculous horror comedy Tucker and Dale vs. Evil graced the silver screens, subverting horror genre tropes in favor of absurd hijinks and a ceaselessly over-the-top energy. The film revolves around a series of misunderstandings between Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine) and a group of college kids. It’s a clever genre merge that, despite all its inanity, is quite a clever journey with a lovable duo at the forefront. As the movie progresses, craziness ensues, leading to a handful of memorable, comedic quotes.

“I can’t have no intruders.”

“We got your friend’s brain!”

“Heads are loose all the time, man, it happens.”

“You’ve been hurt, you’ve been hurt real bad!”

“These kids are coming out here and they’re killing themselves all over the woods.”

“We’re not seeing any patients today, all right? You’re gonna have to go to a hospital.”

“Just go back to the cabin, get some rest, and we’ll take care of this in the morning.”

“We’re not hillbillies, we’re college kids!”

“I’m not gonna hurt ya. I’m gonna keep you in a safety bubble.”

“I’ve been doing a little bit of fishing, a little bit of drinking, a little bit of minding my own business.”

“We’ve got your friend. She’s dead.”

“Maybe you’ve heard of a little mountain sickness called ‘getting the crap scared out of you.”

“Oh, she’s a bit of a klutz. Just like her mother.”

“We’re good people. We’ve just had a doozy of a day.”

“It looks like they’re killing themselves all over the place!”

“All we wanted to do was have a good time in our new house!”

“We’re not murderers!”

“This is a suicide pact!”
